Our Family Pictures: Aug recap

Well, once again here it is a new month and another is now in the past... There was a lot last month to deal with... but hey that is life.

Well for some quick updates: Austin Michael came and went last month it was really really good to see him he was here for 3 wks and it seemed like it was only about a week. Unfortunately Jamie and Chris were not able to make the trip as they planned; Chris ended up slicing his tendons in his wrist/thumb while working and had to have surgery the week that they were going to be here. He is recovering slowly now and hopefully before he gets back to work they can come out and visit us.

As far as mine and Justin's health mine kind of took a turn for the better, the latest CT showed no more hydronophrosis (sp?) or stones- YEAH so hopefully they can now figure out if that was why I was in so much pain or if it is something else going on in my kidney's! Justin on the other hand did not fare as well at the dr's; he is more than likely going to have surgery within the next couple of months. The steroid treatment didn't help and he is still in constant pain; we pray that they will find a way to get him comfortable and in less pain - even if it means he has to have the surgery.

Katelyn is doing well - she is getting bigger by the day. It is amazing watching her grow into a little girl with her own personality. By far the most rewarding thing Justin and I have ever and will ever do is become parents. It has truly made us better people and more aware of what is really important in life - Family and Friends!
