4th of July Weekend

Well, now that I am finally up to date with my posts/pictures I can hopefully stay consistent and post more frequently! This past week we picked up our new camper (traded the old one) and went camping. All in all it was a nice weekend of course there was rain (because why wouldn't there be when we go camping) but even with the rain it was still a good time! Unfortunately the rain ended up keeping our friends the Harrisson's from making the trip, but thats okay cause we'll do it again! Once we got the site set-up (okay so maybe Justin and I need to work on our communication skills when parking the camper)we went and checked out the campgrounds; Katelyn loved that there was a horse (plastic that rocked) at the playground, so that was a plus right there!!! We went to the local highschool for fireworks(they were actually pretty good) and they had a couple of booths set up so Katelyn reaped the rewards and scored some free icecream, a glow bracelet, balloon animial, and a police badge! So she had a blast at her first fireworks display. On Saturday we just hung out and did the whole camping thing... Justin taught me how to play shuffle board (where I quickly learned how to win)and we just lounged around. It rained Saturday night so Justin was still able to watch the Dayton Nascar race on TV so it made for a nice weekend away!
