Our Family Pictures: Kings Dominion

Before things got back to normal (you know the usual... kids starting school, Austin returning back to Michigan, traveling, getting settled, figuring things out, that kind of stuff); we decided to take our final trip of the summer. This one was the perfect trip. We packed up in the motorhome (Jamie, Chris, Austin, Katelyn, Justin and I) and went south about 45 miles to Kings Dominion. Now for those of you who know the luck that we have with the motorhome, 45 miles is still very scary! Well, we made it there and back with no faliures (to the motorhome anyway). Camping went well, no rain, not to hot or cold - perfect weather. The best part about our little trip was the park! Katelyn had the time of her life, watching her drive away in the cars, or lift or hands up on the roller coasters was well worth every second! Her favorite rides were between the Scobby doo - haunted house and the wave pool! Austin also had a good time, he rode all the rides without getting sick or being scared (not that he would have admitted at his age he was scared!). Jamie and Chris also seemed to have a good time, which is good because we don't get to do a lot with them so being able to spend some time away from the house, away from the stress was a nice break for all of us. Justin also had a blast between, watching Katelyn, riding the rides, hanging out in the water park, he was in heaven!
