It's a good thing some times that weekends are only a couple of days! This past week/weekend was one of those crazy weeks that you are glad and sad (all at the same time) come to an end! The week started off with Justin in CA, he flew back Wed night, and we made it home around 11:30pm. Thursday his Mom and Don were flying in, so when we picked them up from the airport (night flight again) their one suitcase was MIA. It was put on the wrong plane but suppose to arrive with the next flight. Long story short they were suppose to deliver it to our house that night. Justin, Kathie and Don waited up till a little after 2:00am before finally heading to bed - no luggage. The next day we are going to the city to site see (one thing leads to another) we finally get on the road a little after 1:30pm only to have the craziness continue through the rest of the day/night. Long story short again, by the end of the day, Kathie's foot is killing her, Katelyn is bored, I am sick, and Justin's hip hurts him (but we picked up the suitcase on our way home). Saturday goes a little smoother, but Katelyn and I stayed home while the three amigos went back to the city. Sunday again is another crazy day dealing with traffic and people at the National Zoo. But in the end all the craziness was well worth it! Katelyn, Justin and I had a really nice time with Don and Kathie and hopefully they had a good time with us. To be honest even though they left this morning, we can't wait for the next vistors to come so that the craziness can happen all over again!!!!
